Wimbledon trip

Got off to a very early start (5am), and after the stress of nearly zero visibility on the motorway, a nice breakfast was enjoyed. Flight on time, which is always a bonus and arrived at Heathrow Airport.

A glorious sweltering hot day in wimbledon, had to have the obligatory strawberries and cream (not a patch on our Wexford ones btw). So in to centre court we go!!!

We got excellent seats, just beside the Royal box, Prince Charles & Camilla with Bruce Forsythe, great but quick game Federer V Fognini. The women were next Wozniacki V Pasze, play stopped due to rain but as we had the pleasure of being in centre court, the roof was closed and play was resumed. A great day of tennis and a bonus to see both men and ladies play.

Wimbledon is, for anyone who plays/played, watched or watches it is an absolute MUST, put it on your bucked list!!

So, Ive decided to start a blog, have been thinking about doing this for a long time and decided after some great advice and encouragement from a friend (this is all your fault Kate) to bite the bullet and DO IT!!!!  So what to start off with well, why not with what I got up to yesterday.

A photo shoot was arranged between photographers, models, make up artist and hair stylist a while back, and after lots of cancellations, later sleepers, weather mishaps, it all kinda came together in the end.  Met a new hair stylist whom I'm very looking forward to working with again.
I think everyone involved had a great time, we laughed more than we took photos but that's OK, in my book anyway, and even the weather did really get us down.

Many plans were made and that's really the great thing about these kind of shoots, big ideas and encouragement from each other to do what we love to do.
